Kodiak Cakes:
- 1 c. Kodiak cake pancake mix
- 1 c. water
- 1–2 tbsp. red velvet flavoring
- 1/2 c. white chocolate chip
- 1 tsp. butter or cooking spray
Homemade:
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tbsp, cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. milk
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tbsp. red velvet flavoring
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. butter or cooking spray
Instructions
Kodiak Cakes:
- Heat griddle or frying pan on stove on medium low heat.
- Mix together Kodiak cake pancake mix, water and red velvet flavoring.
- Grease the griddle or frying pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour the pancake batter into a heart shape.
- Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top.
- Wait until the pancakes start to form bubbles and then flip.
- Cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Repeat process until all batter is used.
- Plate and serve with syrup or powdered sugar.
Homemade:

- In a large bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, white vinegar, milk, red velvet flavoring and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In small amounts, pour the dry ingredients into the large bowl and mix together until all the dry ingredients have been combined.
- Grease the griddle or frying pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour the pancake batter into a heart shape.
- Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top.
- Wait until the pancakes start to form bubbles and then flip.
