The creaminess of the whipped potatoes combined with tons of garlic and butter make these creamed garlicky dirty mashed potatoes number one on your list to make during the holiday season! Pair with turkey, baked chicken, or a seared steak.
Ingredients
- 4 lb. red potatoes, rough chopped
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 stick salted butter, cubed
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions

Fill a large pot with water, two pinches of salt and bring water to a boil. As the water gets to temperature, place the potatoes in a cullender and rinse.

Transfer the potatoes to a paper towel and pat dry.

Once dried, place potatoes on a large cutting board and begin to cube into two by two cubes, leaving the skins on.

After the potatoes are cubed, dump the potatoes into the boiling water and let cook until potatoes can be crushed with a fork, approximately 15-20 minutes.

Strain the potatoes and transfer to a large mixing bowl.

Cube the butter and add the butter, heavy cream, pepper, parsley, garlic, garlic powder, and salt to the bowl.

Using a hand mixer, blend all ingredients together in the bowl on medium low speed until creamy and slightly lumpy.

Transfer the creamed garlicky dirty mashed potatoes to a serving bowl or put in a crock pot on warm.

Top with extra butter and parsley.
